California raised New York-based creative who is currently in film and television production with a background in the culinary arts, creative writing. An Avid music lover, people wrangler, a quiet introvert with extrovert tendencies...as many of us are.
You can read a bit more about my culinary voice below:
"Oh, I remember picking herbs with my mom for what seemed like hours on end, and that there was a pungency in the air. It sticks to my memory like the molasses and fish sauce that saturated her kitchen. As a child, I was an avid PBS cooking show enthusiast who later had her dream come true; when the opportunity to cook a burger for Mr. Jacques Pepin himself came during the dinner shift at Zuni Cafe. It brought tears to my eyes and to him it was "Ze best burger in the whole world!".
Of course, my influences include my mother who is a health-conscious cook and supporter of fresh ingredients, my father who was a gentle and kind man with a vibrant palate, Judy Rodgers' electric energy which stapled into me the beauty of quality & simplicity. As well as the countless chefs' innovators and creatives that I come across each and every day or have worked with. Have worked in restaurants, on a yacht, in a field, in tiny apartments to mansions to photo studios - but nothing ever beats the feeling of throwing a good dinner party.
My parents had a donut shop by the name DONUT LAND and it was here that I learned at an early age that hard work and strong ethics are important traits to have in and out of the kitchen."
Experienced with recipe research and development, recipe testing, recipe writing, with an avid flair for food styling. Love teaching a cooking class, throwing a dinner party for a few or a few more and ready for travel.
